Red Awning . Print

This is an entrance to a beautiful multi-story building that immediately caught my eye.  The awning and the heavy black painted iron gate are what made me want to capture it in paint. The building itself is located on Loukianou Street in the bustling Kolonaki district. I can imagine the upper middle class family that once must have owned this jewel. I took the artistic liberty to change the color of the awning to red because it better served my palette at the time. I hope the present owners won’t mind!
